an Afternoon dedicated to
networking, empowerment, and entrepreneurship

Women Conductors Gathering: Bringing Your Gifts to the Table
Monday, April 29th, 2019
12:00pm (Eastern Daylight Time)

We know that having a network makes all the difference, which is why we are hosting the first-ever online gathering of women conductors.

Have you ever thought about creating your own conducting opportunities because applying to countless programs and jobs seemingly gets you nowhere? Have you started or envisioned starting your own ensemble, organization, or music program only to feel overwhelmed by the unending task list that comes with the territory? Have you been wanting to talk to other women to compare notes on the current state of conducting affairs?

We are honored to have Cheryl Snapp Conner deliver a keynote entitled, “Women in Entrepreneurship: Take Charge and Create!” to address entrepreneurship, the advantages of being in charge of your own trajectory while still “playing the game,” and directing us towards developing strong business acumen.

NYCI invites women conductors of all levels, ages, and stages in their career, in any part of the world to participate in this virtual gathering for the purposes of encouragement, empowerment, and networking.
