Conducting Workshop with Maestro Donald Schleicher
June 2-6, 2017

New York Conducting Institute (NYCI) is proud to present a conducting workshop with Maestro Donald Schleicher on June 2-6, 2017. Participants will receive at least 48 minutes of podium time (three 16-minute podium sessions) over the course of the five days with a professional string quintet and piano, taught by Maestro Donald Schleicher. All podium sessions will be digitally recorded.

How to apply
We are currently accepting full-participants and auditors.
In order to complete the application form, the following are required:

- Video Clips of your own conducting. (for full-participant applications only)
- List links to online video clips including title of the piece, length of the excerpt, ensemble name, and any additional information needed in order to access (at least 10 minutes, but not more than 30 minutes in total)
- Résumé: We accept the following formats: pdf, doc, docx, txt, rtf, html.
- Application fee $35 until April 5th, 2017. After this date, $50. (non-refundable, must pay online via your application form in order to complete your application)
Dates and Deadlines
We are accepting applications for full-participants and auditors. Accepted full-participant applicants will be placed on the waitlist, as the class is now at its full capacity. (Updated Everyday)

Applications are being accepted now and will be reviewed starting on April 5th, 2017. Applications received after April 5th will be reviewed and processed on a space-available basis. If the class is full, applications will be considered for Auditor status only.
If accepted as an Auditor, he or she may be added to the waiting list for Full Participant status, with the discretion of Maestro Schleicher and NYCI. If a Full-Participant must later cancel, tuition will be refunded (minus non-refundable fees) only if a suitable replacement is found.
