Conducting Workshop with Maestro Donald Schleicher
April 1st - April 4th, 2016
New York Conducting Institute (NYCI) is pleased to present a conducting workshop with Maestro Donald Schleicher on April 1-4, 2016. Participants will receive three 18-minute podium sessions (54 minutes of podium time over the course of the four days) with a professional string quintet and piano, taught by Maestro Donald Schleicher. He will also lead five hours of intensive score analysis and study, in which participants and auditors will have the extraordinary opportunity to go learn from his deep experience and insights. Participants are highly encouraged to be well prepared and ask questions. All podium sessions will be digitally recorded.

This NYCI Conducting Workshop is fiscally sponsored by Multicultural Sonic Evolution (MuSE) and all the payments will go through MuSE.
Application fee: $35 (non-refundable, must pay online in order to complete your application)
Participant Tuition: $930
Auditor Tuition: $450
All fees paid by PayPal will incur a 3.5% service fee.
Online payments preferred, but US checks, certified checks or money orders will also be accepted. Cash will not be accepted. The application is not complete and will not be processed until the application fee is received. Late payment of tuition deposit or tuition payments may result in loss of spot. If a Full Participant must cancel, tuition (minus non-refundable fees) will be refunded only if a suitable replacement is found to fill the spot. If class is full, applications will be considered for Auditor status only. However, if a Full Participant drops out, Auditors may be asked if they would like to be considered for Full Participant status.

Applications are being accepted now and will be reviewed starting on January 30th, 2016. First notifications will be emailed by within 5 business days. Applications received after January 30th will be reviewed and processed on a space-available basis.
